2022 Ron Foster Memorial Technology Award Recipients

The Ron Foster Memorial Technology Award is brand new to Questeq this year. This scholarship recognizing our amazing employees and their families is available to high school and college-aged students who are attending post-secondary education in the fall. We couldn’t be more pleased with the caliber of applicants we received. Everyone showed a deep appreciation for technology and academic excellence in their studies.

Just like their parents and the rest of our team members, these young adults are dedicated, talented and ready to take on their next challenge.

Aidan Brophy is enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh and plans to study Digital Narrative and Interactive Design in the fall. He is the son of Philip Brophy, Questeq Infrastructure Engineer at North Hills School District.

Kyle Fronk is currently studying for a bachelor’s in Building Automation at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. His father, Mike Fronk, is a Questeq Infrastructure Engineer at Big Spring School District.

Mikayla Reed is enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh and is seeking a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Her father, Michael Reed, is one of our Infrastructure Engineers working at Moon Area School District.

Jude Walker plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh in the fall to study Economics. He is the son of Jacqueline Walker, Questeq Application Support Manager at Norwin School District.

ABOUT THE AWARD

This award is in honor of Questeq’s valued friend and employee, Ron Foster, who passed away in September 2021. Ron served as a Questeq Systems Engineer for many years. He was dedicated to our mission of providing high-quality technology solutions to school districts across Pennsylvania.
