Questeq Summer Internship Program 2025

Building the Next Generation of IT Talent: Questeq’s Summer Internship Program

This summer, over 20 talented student interns joined Questeq’s technology teams across our partner districts — bringing fresh energy, curiosity, and a desire to learn. From setting up thousands of devices to strengthening network security, these young professionals made real contributions while gaining hands-on IT experience in a safe and supportive environment.

For Questeq, this program is about more than summer assistance — it’s about investing in the students and communities we serve. Many of our interns are current or former students in their districts, bringing a shared connection and understanding that strengthens our work together. It’s one more way we show that we’re not just managing technology — we’re helping grow the next generation of technology leaders within the community.

We’re especially proud to highlight four districts where interns made an outstanding impact this year:

  • Big Spring School District – Their intern jumped in on classroom setups, device imaging, and tech recycling, helping ensure everything was ready to welcome students back.
  • Butler Area School District – Many interns here have been Student Technology Team members, stepping seamlessly into roles repairing devices, updating equipment, and supporting classroom technology.
  • Riverview School District– The intern offered vital assistance by preparing and organizing devices while also building his security skills for a career path in cybersecurity.
  • Aliquippa School District– By assisting with technology support and systems management, the intern learned how to meet staff needs effectively and keep district technology running smoothly.

Across all sites, mentors guided interns through practical IT work — from cybersecurity best practices to classroom technology setup. In return, interns brought valuable insights about student needs and how technology can best support learning.

Some interns will return to school this fall, others will head to college, and a few might one day join Questeq full-time. No matter their path, they leave with new skills, greater confidence, and the knowledge that their talents are valued.

To our interns: thank you for your dedication and enthusiasm. To our partner districts: thank you for trusting us to help prepare your students for bright futures.

This is how we build stronger technology teams — and stronger communities — together.
