Questeq Summer Grilling Program 2025

Firing Up the Grill and Building Connections in Our Schools

Summer in K‑12 school districts is a season of focused preparation. While students enjoy their break, school staff are hard at work — technology teams managing major projects and upgrades, teachers sharpening their skills in professional development sessions, and custodial crews readying facilities for a new year. Every department plays a vital role behind the scenes to set the stage for student success.

Amid this activity, several of our technology teams have introduced an annual summer grilling tradition that’s as warm and welcoming as the season itself. These gatherings invite district administrators, teachers, and staff to step outside for fresh air, good food, and relaxed, face‑to‑face conversations with their on‑site technology teams.

Beyond the burgers and hot dogs, these events are about connection — because great technology partnerships aren’t only about expertise, they’re about belonging. Our teams are woven into the school community: they know the teachers by name, understand the district’s traditions, and share in the vision for student success.

Whether it’s solving a tough network issue or flipping burgers on a sunny afternoon, each interaction strengthens the respect, collaboration, and shared purpose that help schools thrive.

We look forward to continuing these summertime traditions at more sites. They may start with a grill and a picnic table, but they end with something far more important — a stronger connection between technology teams and the communities we serve.
