Talent Acquisition Manager
Gary joined the Questeq Leadership Team in 2015 as our Technical Recruiter. He comes to us with an extensive background in regional and national recruiting for the healthcare, technology, natural gas and oil industries. As a function of the Human Resources department, Gary is responsible for finding and acquiring the top talent available in the market. He holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Geneva College, and Bachelor of Science degree from Slippery Rock University. In 2018 Gary was promoted to Talent Acquisition Manager.
Why are you passionate about your role at Questeq?
The work we do at Questeq is making a real difference out there. Technology is ever present and ever changing and our world is becoming more and more competitive. In the K-12 vertical that we work in, ensuring that teachers and students are equipped with the technology tools and support they need to be successful is critical. I am passionate about my work here at Questeq, finding talented people that can join the Questeq team and help us to achieve our vision and mission to positively impact generations to come.
What would you be doing if you weren't working at Questeq?
I would be spending more time at the beach. My wife and I really love the southwest coast of Florida. One day we would like to retire there and have the time to share all of it with our family and friends.
What is one thing someone would be surprised to learn about you?
I can talk like Donald Duck. Yes, it is true. When I was about 7 years old, I was out playing with my friend Scott. He lived just up the street from me. We were catching baseball and suddenly, I just started talking like Donald Duck! And the crazy thing is that within about 15 minutes, my friend was doing it as well.
