February 6, 2013
Digital Learning Day is a national campaign that celebrates teachers and shines a spotlight on successful instructional practice and effective use of technology in classrooms across the country.
If you haven’t registered to participate in Digital Learning Day it’s not too late! Visit the website and register your classroom as participating in the celebration. Here are some examples of how you can participate with your students (from the website):
- Launch a project or lesson using digital learning or discussing technology’s role in learning on that day.
- Join the action at https://twitter.com/DLDay2013 (#DLDay) and www.facebook.com/NationalDigitalLearningDay.
The Digital Learning Day website offers many other ways for educators, administrators, students and community leaders to join in support.
If you are unable to participate but would still like to be involved, a live Digital Town Hall will be broadcasted on Wednesday, February 6, from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. (ET).
Join with the thousands of educators, students and community members who will be celebrating and promoting digital learning and its positive impact on teachers, students and communities.
