Anthony Gentile

Anthony Gentile has been a Questeq team member for almost 4 years and has held various positions with the company. Anthony started as a part-time Help Desk Engineer and then moved to Heritage Valley as a Desktop Engineer to support their users. He transitioned back into the help desk by joining the eiNetwork Help Desk team where he transitioned from Help Desk Engineer to Senior Lead.

Anthony is currently a Level 3 – Senior Lead Help Desk Engineer for the eiNetwork Help Desk. He was promoted to the Senior Lead position this month but has been serving as the Lead Help Desk Engineer since May 2012. The help desk supports the over 80 libraries in Allegheny County that receive services from eiNetwork.

When asked to describe a recent success he said, “My most recent success is being promoted to Senior Lead Help Desk Engineer and working with Questeq and EIN to perfect the relationship between the two.”

On a daily basis, Anthony is responsible for leading, managing and supporting the help desk and its daily operations. From assisting with calls and ticket queues to managing replacement parts and warranty issues, he is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the help desk operation. In addition to those duties, Anthony is also responsible for many of the eiNetwork business processes surrounding network support and maintenance.

Regarding his leadership role Anthony added, “My main goal is to maintain the help desk workload and make sure that all work is being completed in a timely fashion. I also perform many daily tasks that keep the help desk running smoothly, from checking the queues to assigning work when need be.”

In addition to maintaining a good working relationship with his colleagues on the Help Desk, Anthony also works to keep a great relationship with the staff at eiNetwork. An open working relationship allows him to receive guidance from their team as well as assist the eiNetwork with many projects and processes.

Rick Letterman, Director of Support Services shares, “Anthony embraces the constant change of technology – always willing to learn and assist our clients’ needs with open arms and a serving attitude. It’s no wonder that callers often request to speak with Anthony when asking for help.”
