Karly Grunebach Spotlight

Karly Grunebach is the Director of Technology at Amcom Office Systems. She has been a Questeq Team Member for seven years, starting as a Help Desk Intern in 2005. She quickly advanced through Help Desk Lead and Network Monitoring Engineer positions before becoming a Director of IT. At Amcom, Karly deals with all aspects of technology management, from server and infrastructure maintenance to project and budget management. As Director, she must also keep current with the latest technologies including virtual servers and cloud based solutions. Amcom recently moved to a new office location and Karly was essential in the planning, technology, infrastructure and utility upgrades. Due to Karly’s efforts Amcom experienced minimal downtime, about five hours on a Friday evening, as the servers were relocated.

Ron Main, Chairmen of the Board shares, “Karly is our first “Lady of IT”. Upon graduating from Robert Morris University and joining Questeq, she has continued to lead our extreme customer service offering.”

Regarding new technology trends she says, “In business, it’s all about being mobile and secure. Having a lot of users in sales, I encourage them to be more mobile. They need to be out in front of the customer and not so worried about being in the office in front of the computer.”
