Rick Pavicic Spotlight

Rick PavicicRick Pavicic has been a Questeq team member for almost two years as a Level 1 Desktop Engineer for Peters Township School District. On a daily basis he manages and maintains over 450 desktop and laptop computers as well as 80 iPad’s. In addition, he resolves issues with all technology assets in the school including projectors, document cameras and Apple TV’s.

McMurray Elementary, where Rick spends his days, purchased iPad’s over the summer for classroom use starting in 2012-2013. In addition to the iPad carts being implemented at the elementary school, Rick also sees Apple TV’s playing a bigger role in the classroom setting. He has implemented several Apple TV’s to be used with the iPads to enhance student learning and engagement.

Regarding the iPad setup Rick adds, “Before school was in session I was in charge of setting up 2 iPad Carts with separate MacBook Pro’s using the software Apple Configurator. Apple Configurator allows you to install both free and paid apps as well as configure all iPad settings and restrictions for the students. I was very proud that I successfully configured both iPad carts for the beginning of the school year.”

Rick has earned his CompTIA A+ Certification and was also nominated into the National Technical Honor Society while attending Parkway West Career and Technical Center.

Jessica Azur, HR Manager for Questeq shares, “Since Rick joined the team at Peter’s I have had numerous teachers praise his work ethic and customer service skills. He has been a great addition to the Questeq team and we are lucky to have him!
